Construction began on November 16, 1964, opening in 1966. The casino is named after the builder Ben Goffstein's four daughters, Faith, Hope, Benita, and Michele. It originally contained only 120 rooms and a 20,000 sq. ft. casino. In 1976 the casino expanded to 33,000 sq. ft. and changed decor to be warmer. Today the casino occupies the entire block bordered by Fremont St., Casino Center, Third Street, and Carson Avenue. The Four Queens was also a partner in renovating the downtown area and creating the Fremont Street experience. In April 2007 the Canyon Club opened at the Four Queens providing the first downtown casino club.
The "Cheap" Thing to Do
Stay and play is the thing to do threw the week rates are in the $20 to $30. There is $3 blackjack during the day.
Hotel
Unser $25 can be found at the Four Queens and low $25 to $50 is the norm at the Four Queens. The rates are nice and cheap like we like them.
The rooms here are clean, good beds nice bathrooms. The hotel is nice I have never been in the suites here but I am sure they are nice. I like to stay on the back side away from Fremont street with a view of the strip. You can see the Stratosphere and a few other spots. I do wish the rooms where a little more sound proof thou.
Casino
The casino here is a great low roller place. I enjoy the low table limits and the friendly people. The box men at pit bosses are nice and laid back. On a personal note the drink service is pretty good.
Entertainment
Canyon Club
A nice little comedy club.
