Established in 1906, the Golden Gate is proud to be Las Vegas' most historic hotel/casino and the smallest hotel on Fremont Street, with only 106 rooms. The shrimp cocktails started a Las Vegas tradition over 40 years ago, and still is named "Best of Las Vegas" year after year. They offer great accommodations, plenty of gambling action and excellent food in a warm and friendly environment.
The "Cheap" Thing to Do
The room rates are good and they have have great bar tenders out front. They will let you take a picture with them but give them a tip. The are very nice and easy on the eyes!

The Golden Gate has some wonderful rates under $25 can be found during the week and $25 to $50 is the high end most of the time for the Golden Gate.

Rooms offer one queen or two full size beds (upon availability at Check-In) as well as in-room coffee, complimentary newspaper, cable TV, voice mail services and computer ports.
