Hotels in downtown Las Vegas

From 4 diamonds hotels to under $20 a night downtown has you covered.

The great thing about these places is that you can walk to any of them in under 5 minutes. The Fremont Street Experience is a lot of fun. There is free concerts hotties bar tending on the street. A show on the worlds largest TV every hour.

I love downtown Las Vegas, The price is great and there is so many places so close together. If you are on a budget look into the downtown. Not having to walk for 4 miles is one of the things I love about downtown. If you get a bus pass you can go to the strip and you only have to walk the opposite direction of the Plaza down Fremont Street to Las Vegas BLVD. Then go to the left side of the side walk. There is a place to buy bus passes right there. Get on the bus and you are on the strip.

Downtown Las Vegas has some of the most popular hotels in the world. Binion’s is the place that made poker famous.  The Golden Nugget was owned by Steve Wynn and was one of the first hotels build around the casino. The Fremont was run by people named Lefty and was a popular mob hangout. The Golden Gate is the oldest hotel in town with one of the nicest casino owners I have met. The downtown area has some of the best quality and prices in Las Vegas.
